Bio

Some call him the Oracle of Rector Street, Dean Williams is a legendary icon in the familiar haunts of his neighborhood.  With a smile and the gestures of a captain rallying troops for battle, his eyes dance as he weaves entrancing tales of yesterdays and tomorrows with addictive rhythm and rhyme.  Possessing the dual role of priest and writer, C. David Williams, is the Dean of the Cathedral of Trinity and Saint Philip’s in the Episcopal Diocese of Newark, New Jersey.  His dynamic style of writing captures the reader in worlds of apocalyptic visions and old world romance.  This weaver of tales is carving a unique genre in the literary world, unlocking surprise after surprise in his stories of Paradise Lost and Paradise regained.

C. David Williams hails from Tuckahoe, New York where he was educated in Eastchester District 2 school system.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from SUNY (Empire College), a Diploma in Theology at The Mercer School of Theology (Diocese of Long Island) and holds an MBA and a DMN in Pastoral Care from Graduate Theological Foundation of South Bend, Indiana.  He has, furthermore, traveled extensively in the pursuit of his education and holds a certificate from Oxford University, England.

He numbers, among his major accomplishments in life, a two year term in the United States Army and six year tenure as Senior Chaplain at the Rikers Island House of Detention for Men (where this novel was written).

Williams has successfully penned The Adversary, an apocalyptic thriller that envisions the timeless battle for saving the souls of mankind.  He has also, recently released his turn of the century romance novel of intrigue, DuBarry.
